Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I just like this place - a lot. it's a small space easy to miss but they turn out some really good simple pasta dishes and their pizza is some of best I've had around Ft Myers. Great crust - chewy without being soggy and it holds up to toppings. Portions are extreme generous, best Italian wedding soup and the bread is great. Service is usually 5/5 - they dont take reservations so sometimes it's a short wait - but has always been worth it .

If you love pizza this is the place to have one in all of Southwest Florida. Red and white pizzas and pasta dishes. They have smooth or chunky sauce. I always get the house special with chunky sauce along with a Gorgonzola salad. Wonderful house dressing too.

Always smells like bleach and super clean. I mean, like no other restaurant in Ft Myers. They have a unique style pizza, with a chunky sauce. Everything is made fresh, and is top notch. You can't say they make the best pizza since there are so many styles of pizza. But, they are the best at this style! This place makes chain stores look like frozen.

Look it's delicious. The oily salty texture on my finger tips. The ash that flakes off on our hands. The steam that filters off the pizza and into the air. The sodas fresh and bubbly. The bowls are cold that hold the salad that so awesomely contrasts the flaming lava hot pizza. But something feels like it's missing. Maybe it's me. In fact it's probably me. To me gourmet and pizza just don't connect

Been going to Pizza 2000 for at least 5 years. I am from NJ and their pizza is hand tossed and delicious. I especially like their white pizza. Salads are cold and my mother likes the wedding soup. Prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot imagine why they do not have more reviews.

Very good pizza as we had ordered one other time, but not so good customer service from the manager on our second time. We ordered a pizza to be delivered, but 40 minutes later we received a call saying they could not deliver due to a $25 min. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he was too busy with orders and would not make an exception. Perhaps to avoid wasting a pizza (which I confirmed was baking) and losing future business, the fact of a needed $25 min should be shared up front, not 40 minutes after the order was placed. Perhaps the manager needs to take a few lessons on customer service and know that word of mouth can be both a positive and a negative when it comes to marketing a business.

I came down to visit my family with my son and was tired from being at pool all day and didn't want to cook. We decided to order pizza and wanted to try something new and had heard about pizza 2000 from a neighbor and thought we'd give it a try. Wow!!! Are we happy to have called because I can honestly say it is the beat pizza I've ever had not to mention VERY resanabily priced. You could see and taste all the real tomatoes and real parmesian cheese in the pasta sause. Incredible. We won't be ordering from anyone else again. Sincerely, Nathan

Ordered delivery last night. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms, gorgonzola salad and the spinach and artichoke white pizza. We usually order from Pizza fusion but I read a review where this was so much better. Guess what it's not. Mushrooms were rubbery and tasted like mostly bread never even tasted any seafood. Salad. What a joke! Gorgonzola salad there maybe was a 1/16th of a cup on it and very finely crumbled, not much else on the salad and the dressing was straight up balsamic and oil. I have to say the crust was really good and the amount of toppings but little cheese and not a whole lot of flavor. The artichokes were woody pulpy the part you're not suppose to eat. Delivery was fast and food hot for delivery. This place is pricey so never again.

Quite possibly the best pizza in Fort Myers. Since Salvatore's closed down a few years ago, we've been looking for a place to get really good pizza. I've passed by Pizza 2000 for years without stopping in since the name and strip mall location don't exactly scream quality pizza. Some friends ordered from them a few weeks back and we were very impressed. I've been back since and this will be our go to pizza spot for the foreseeable future.

Pizza 2000 has earned this review; we've been ordering delivery from them for about a year now and they have never disappointed -- excellent quality at a reasonable price, and if they can't deliver because the delivery guy isn't in yet, they just tell you to come get it -- got to like their no-nonsense, practical approach! They actually have people sitting in the restaurant most of the times I've been by to pick up, and the owner makes a lot of the pizza himself. Given that it's in that little strip mall building by Costco, having people sitting in the restaurant is also kind of impressive -- my guess is the rest of the menu is worth a try! :-)
